A journal of random thoughts while flying Revolution-style quad-line kites. Back when the use of e-mail began to explode in the military, the Army Chief of Staff began sending out a series of messages titled "Random Thoughts While Running". My blog is not intended for such lofty use, rather as a record of my random thoughts throughout the day.
I'm posting this photo to the blog as a work around in order to get a photo of me into my profile and onto the web page itself. See if you can find the rest of the photo I cropped out for this use - you'll see why I'm smiling.
If you look closely to the right of my nose you'll see a small dark mole on my cheek. I found out in late May 2006 that it was a malignant Melanoma. Even though it was so small and had not really penetrated the skin, the doc's had to cut out a significant portion of the skin around the spot. I'm doing fine now, just aamazed aat how they could close the hole they made without grafting skin.
